Volunteering for the WSC

There are numerous volunteer opportunities available at the Wilderness Science Center. For more information or to get involved, contact Dee Wilson, district coordinating teacher for the WSC.

Student community service include:

  • Trail maintenance;
  • Trimming branches over trails;
  • Weeding;
  • Repair work; and
  • Trash pickup.

Adult volunteer opportunities include:

  • Class activities;
  • Clerical work;
  • Repair work;
  • Stocking equipment; and
  • Aid with animals

If you can not volunteer your time, you can donate to the Blue Valley Educational Foundation (external link) which helps to fund the WSC.
